I was chasing some men's black to clear (crystal) coloured eyeglasses. Of a quality seen in the American Optical 1950s brand. I am chasing either deadstock / original frames or contemporary reproductions / similar styles.
Go on ebay, and put in a request for them, someone probably has a pair in a drawer.
most sites I've seen seem to be out
Call Dior. They will probably give you a number to a warehouse or a store in your location that might have them. Chances are if sites are out of them, they are either hot or discontinued.

I have a badly scratched watch crystal.
How about plastic eyeglass lenses?
Thank you for any help you can give.
i tryed one on glasses it only worked on the light scrathes.
I just got my first set of prescription glasses. I got them because my distance vision was not crystal clear, but is still quite good.
When I look through the left or the right lens alone, with the other eye closed, everything looks great. However when I'm looking through both eyes normally, things just seem a little off. I don't really know how else to describe it.
Is this normal? Do my eyes need to adjust to the new glasses?
Try wearing them for a few days before you go storming into your eye doctor's office. If this is your first set of glasses, it could take up to a week or two to get fully used to wearing them. Try to wear them as much as you can for at least a week. If you notice no little or no improvement, then call up your eye doctor and explain to them what is going on. But if you've never worn glasses before, there certainly is an adjustment period for sure, and it may take longer for that reason.
This is so bizarre. I have a new pair of eyeglasses (my very first eyeglasses) and we have two alarm clocks in our room. From about ten feet my wife's red alarm clock is crystal clear. My larger blue alarm clock is very fuzzy. Everything near my clock, at the same distance, is NOT fuzzy. If I take my glasses off, it's NOT fuzzy.
What the heck is with my alarm clock that would cause this? Weird.
Thanks.
take them to your optometrist and have HIM prescribe a better lens fit for your eyes. my ophthalmologist tests mine with green and red.
Its your glasses not your alarm clock.

I do shop at Sam's. Here are some other things to look at: yeast, bread flour if you make bread, minced garlic, butter (we only use REAL butter and it was $4.78 for 4 lbs. yesterday), milk (cheaper than Aldi's and our grocery stores here in SW MO are not good on milk prices), shortening was cheaper than Aldi last time I compared, raisins, craisins, nuts, sometimes they will have a really good deal on a clothing item if you watch carefully, like a coat for $10 I got last year. I agree you have to watch the prices very carefully and most of what I see people buy there is not cheaper than Aldi, but the things I get there do save the $35 a year and it is convenient for me to buy larger quantities to not have to replace so often. I have three teenagers, though. =)
