I bought a pair of eyeglasses from Sears and the frame snapped at the edge of the bridge of the nose. It is possible to crazy glue it back together so it will look like it was never broken.
I just need it to hold up for a couple of days to where it will not break if they take it out to look at it. They have a 90 day guarantee so I would like to try to get my money back.
If you get good enough glue. The cheap stuff won't work, so you may have to get a tube that's a little more expensive, but it would help you out in the long run, I suppose.

The classic solution for removing Super Glue is using fingernail polish remover (acetone). I don't know if any coatings (scratch resistant, etc.) would be damaged, or if the lenses themselves would be damaged. Should be safe to try on Formica.
My grandmother thought she would help me by super gluing my broken glasses. She got super glue on her fingers and touched the lenses at the inside bottom. Ive noticed that Windex removes super glue from my table when it has soaked for a good 30 min. but I don't want the Windex dye to mess them up or take off more than it should ( my glasses are transition). Any suggestions?

Even if you could get the glue off, it will leave a dull mark on the lenses that will obscure vision.
Over many years, everything has been tried to save optical lenses that have that darn super glue on them , and nothing has been found.

I put crazy glue on my frames [eyeglasses] and i put way too much, so i was wondering if anybody knew how to take it off? it is already completely dry...thanks in advance to anyone who could help.
You can try using nail polish remover. I've gotten super glue on my glasses before, but nail polish remover got rid of the glue on my lens.
