Colored Eyeglasses

I am interested in purchasing a pair of Plano eyeglasses, and colored contact lenses because I have 20/20 vision and just want to wear them for cosmetic reasons. And I was wondering does vision care cover a portion,all, or none of the cost of Plano eyeglasses and colored contact lenses. I would appreciate any advice for colored contacts- companies, solution, accessories, etc. As well as sites that sell eyeglasses.

Insurance companies usually do not cover anything that is for cosmetics only. Colored lenses are all different. they are not all good for everyone. You need to be fit by a doctor and they would tell you what brand is best for your specific size and shape of eye, your eye color and what is healthiest for how much you want to wear them. I would NEVER recommend buying ANY optical goods online. So, I have o recommendations. call your doctor, get an exam, and see if there is any little Rx at all so that your insurance will pay some!

I am working on a project in photoshop where I am layering colored sunglasses, blue, pink, green, yellow, over an image. I would like it to look like someone's view through the glasses, so there would be some normal colored image showing around the tint from the lenses. how much regular color should show, and what happens with the nose area...i cant just make it black, but i dont know what else to do....any ideas???

if they are wearing glasses (at least with mine) everything will be in focus except around the eges. Those will be blurry. How much depends on shape of the lens. You don't see the nose piece.

Also lights are not going to be round. They are gonna be like a star.

I am looking for a specific website that sells brightly colored frames. For the life of me I do not remember the name of the website nor the web address. As for the frames on the site, I distinctly remember seeing bright orange and bright green frames with striped patterns of other colors on them. The selection of frames on the site was not too large, but was mainly comprised of bright, thick frames (many of which had striped or other such patterns). If anyone knows of the site, I would be ever grateful!

You should check out www.optical4less.com They have quite a variety of designs to choose from and many different colours too. Hope this helped ^^ It's probably not the one you're thinking of but I think it's good enough.

As far as i have heard, they do.. Not positive and have never tried it myself.. But next time i do get one, you can bet I will be buying some new sunglasses! lol.. We all know, we'll do everything in our power to get rid of a nasty migraine. =)
