I really want my sunglasses to last long without getting to many scratches, usually those scratches resulting from improper cleaning. Can't find this pair too often, so it's like my treasure. I've learned that either those cleaning bags that act like a cleaning cloth or these microfiber cloths are the ways to go. Any testimonials?
Also, as I researched, apparently there is more than one use for microfiber cloths. THere's also a facial microfiber cloth. Can anybody elaborate and tell me if it's actually good for cleaning your face or skin?

Yes, if you have a plastic lens. Harsh cleansers can ruin the plastic. Get an eyewear safe spray. Or, take a drop of dish detergent and mix it in a bowl of water until it soaps.
Never use alcohol or bleach containing products on plastic lenses.

I believe my lenses are plastic. I have tried one of those microfiber clothes and it gets rid of all smuges but it tends to leave behind a lot of dust and lint. I bought a cleaning solution spray from walmart and it helps eleminate some of that but it doesn't eliminate all of it. Is there anything better I can use to clean my glasses with?
Ordinary glass cleaner. When I purchased my glasses, that is what the doctor told me.

Most pharmacies have them in the aisle with the contact lens solution and eye drops with the contact cases and eye droppers. I know Walgreens sells them, but you should be able to get them at any chain drugstore (CVS, Duane Reade, supermarkets)

"I bought eyeglasses from a retail store a few months ago and the coatings on them are cracking all of a sudden. I think it might be from washing my lenses.
