I'm not sure about eye exams, as I do not live in Tampa, but for glasses have you tried online? I really suggest buying glasses online as opposed to buying glasses at your local stores. Your local stores really rip you off.

Am I nearsighted or farsighted? And, Where do buy Cheap Eye glasses?



I am going to see the optometrist on Saturday at Walmart.

I'm looking for cheap eye glasses to buy online but I don't know if I am nearsighted or farsighted.


My eyes can see anything up close but if I try to see logo or icon print on a poster, my vision becomes a bit blurry. My left eye can see words 4 feet away better than my right eye.

When I use both of my eyes to see things(4 feet away or farther) are easier to see but if I cover my left eye, my vision becomes blurrier.

I'm trying to make an estimate of how much my frames and lenses will cost. The eye exam is $55. The frames are priced from $9-$160.

near sighted... well if u have to get close(near) to see small words then ur near sighted. if u move like 10 feet away and cant even see large print... also near sighted cuz u cant see it from far away.

glasses cost around... 50 bucks at wal mart for the cheaper ones and about 100 for the more expensive ones... i have nvr seen like below 30 at a store. i always get contacts though and they cost about 60 for a few months.

my exam was calm. talk to the guy cuz he is payed to help you. its fine... they do have a machine that blows air in your eye but that just is annoying rather than painful.

and for advice, get glasses you like. don't ask what other ppl think cuz everyone has their own lil opinion. find what looks good to you and feels comfortable and then you will feel more confident in them. don't let someone decide for you.... also get the warranty, cuz you may say you will take care of the glasses... something can and will happen for them to break about once a year
