Talking about my new eyeglass frames.

Do you suppose that the profits made from war is greater than the Nat'l War Debt?

Consider the business contracts for clothing, vehicles, weapons, food, eyeglasses, medicine, fuels, bandages, tobacco, pencils, computers, socks, soda pop, candy, dental parts, protheics, rubber gloves, cots, tents, armour, binocculars, wrenches, hammers, etc.
So SquiddV do you think that we should go into the trucking business as it relates to the war business? It's got to be big CA$H Bongo Bucks!!!
If there is debt then that means there is a supply of something being demanded. Therefore the profits of those who are supplying must match the debts of those who are demanding that supply!
Now here is an opportunity for the Common Citizen, We the People to finally get ahead of the game, and you refuse based on trifle things like Life, limb, ethics, morals, and ca$h is on the table for the taking.

I beleive the profits are greater than we can ever imagine. That's why there are wars!! But, who's making the profits? Could that be your next question?

Use the following words in a sentence: ?

candy cane, rolaids, eyeglasses, mascara, and sloth.

(all in one sentence, not one sentence each; that would be too easy.)
i think rolaids have something to do with heartburn or indigestion or something...it just popped into my head.

I stole some edible mascara (that tasted like rolaids and candycane), and some purple eyeglasses for my near-sighted sloth.

was i "anal" about how my glasses were taken care of? what would you have done in this situation? ?

ok, so i have a situation with my glasses, that i'd like someones opinion on.

i bought some glasses back in feb/march, candies. the first time i got them, they were given to me with scratched lenses.
took them back, they ordered new lenses for me, ok, thought things were good.

a few months later, about summer time now, they were a little loose so i went in to get my glasses adjusted, and this girl did the adjustments with her bare hands, twisting and bending them, she ended up getting "little beads that heat up the glasses" stuck in them to the point where they didnt close, and she cracked the glasses by the ear and didnt say anything.

i went back, and a guy nicely just ordered me another pair, said the reason they werent closing was due to "the little beads that warm up the glasses" and they closed perfectly fine. they said it would be about a week to get them in.

two weeks go by, no call, i call them, the frames were in.

i go in get the replacement frames, walk out, get to my car and realize they let me walk out with glasses majorly crooked on my face, to the point where THEY would have to be the blind ones not to notice.

i go back, and the same girl who broke them in the first place, was the only one available to do the adjustments.
i watch her bend and twist the frames on the glasses, and it just SOO didnt look right. is that REALLY how your supposed to adjust hard plastic glasses???
(i have these glasses in wine http://www.bestbuyeyeglasses.com/candies ...

i live VERY far from this eyeglasses place now that i have moved. and i fget home that same day, and guess what, low and behold the glasses DONT CLOSE, and the glasses have a little space on the side, and are wobbly, creeky, etc.

i live far from this place, so its been some time before i was able to go back.

so today i went back to the eyeglasses place and complained/told them about my glasses, basically i was told that there was nothing they could do to "adjust them"
so i talked to a manager,
and she tried to say it was "ware and tear"
i had this pair of frames for LESS THAN A MONTH, and i dont wear them all day/everyday.
the manager said she would order me a new frame, but didnt seem happy about it. and that manager is the SAME ONE who let me leave the place with CROOKED glasses.

Did i make a big deal about this? What would you have done?
i paid about $150 maybe more for these glasses, and something always seems to be wrong with them.

did i do the right thing with my glasses? or should i have left them alone and accepted imperfect glasses?

No you did not make a big deal out of this -- it's important to have the right fit and if they broke them, they should fix them. And, once you get your new frames back, next time your frames are bent or need tightening, you can take them into any optician -- it doesn't have to be where you bought them -- and have them adjusted or tightened, for free.
