Armani Eyeglasses Frame

In the market for eyeglass frames, and i was lookin on framesdirect Was looking through emporio armani's which was what i originally wanted, but realized they carry armani exchange.

I had never heard of any frames branded with armani exchange. Just Giorgio Armani and Emporio armani. So are these frames for real? I dont even see any mention of them on the A|X site.

If it's not featured on the Armani Exchange site, they're fake.

i fell in love with this eyeglass frame. I was wondering if i could have my eye doctor order them?

Why have your eye doctor order them? He is probably going to charge you extra, what you can do is buy the frame your self, than you can bring it in and have prescription lens put in them by your eye doctor or any other eye place.

But he most likely will ordered them for you if you really must.

So i went to get my lenses put in but the thing is it doesn't completely fit. Theres a space on the top of the frame and lense. They said they got it as close as they can because of my lenses.(they're a little thick, -5 on right and -4 on the other). I wanted to know if this is just BS or is it true. I mean shouldn't they be able to get the lenses to fit perfectly on the frame? Thanks for any help.

THe lenses were even made at their place of business.

i know at my job we actualy make a "CAD" image of the lenses and so they are going to fit near perfectly, i think they are pulling your leg and don't want to eat the lenses. Tell them to fix it or give you your money back. Is this a retailer such as Lenscrafters or wal-mart, or a privet Dr's office? you might get better service at the before metioned rather then the latter...good luck,

I have a trouble of adjusting to specific eyeglasses. I'm 40, nearsighted since childhood. Have changed many eyeglasses in my life. Never had trouble adjusting, usually within several hours I'm OK. Bought this pair a couple of years ago. Quite expensive ones, Armani metal semi-rimless frame, plastic single vision lenses, -9.25 both eyes. Tried several times to start wearing them and gave up each time after several hours. Get headache, sore eyes, the sharpness/distance is worse as compared with several other pairs I have (same single vision -9.25 lenses, just plactic frames). Glasses were checked once by ophtalmologist and several times by various optometrists - nothing wrong found. Lenses are correct, distance between centers is correct. Don't know what to do. Decided to seek advice. The only thing I can add is that it is the only metal rim pair I own, I always liked the plastic frames more. And never experienced any problem. Billion thanks in advance.

Do you have any astigmatism correction as well as your spherical correction? If you have astigmatism correction, the axis may be off, which given your spherical prescription, the tolerance is very slim for axis. The slightest bit off, and it will throw your eyes into haywire!

Also, are the lenses in your plastic frames plastic lenses too? You mentioned the new lenses are plastic single vision lenses, I can imagine how thick those must be! If your other glasses have polycarbonate or high-index plastic, there will be a different index of refraction through your lenses, which will cause blurrinexx/distortion.

Lastly, with a semi-rimless frame and a prescription as strong as yours, you may be getting edge reflection from the lenses, which of course you didn't have in your full-frame plastic glasses.

If you cannot adapt to these, take them back! Every place should stand behind their product, and these don't seem to be working for you....

Hey, thanks for taking the time to hear me out...

I have miopia (i cant see from far) my graduation is -4.5 on my right eye and -5.5 on my left, so the glass is pretty wieghty. About a year and a half ago, i bought some armani frames that looked very nice, but it wieghed alot and plus the wieght of the graduation alone, left me bruises and indentations and a bump on the bridge of my nose, i used these glasses all day for about 8 or 9 monthes. I am 18 years old male. I have been using my contact lenses with no eyeglass use for about 3 monthes now, the bump has gone down, im wondering if the bump will go away completly or if i should sleep in a certain position (like my head upwards, to the side, etc.) so that the bone may mend back to normal, or will it go down by itself, or should i rub... so all in all will the bump on the bridge of my nose go completly away if i dont use my glasses for a while and stick to my contacts?

Wow,I've never heard of something like that happening.I mean,I have the indentations on my nose from my glasses,but nothing as severe as what you've described.If I were you,the next time that you get glasses,you should make absolutely sure that the nosepads and the bridge on them are comfortable enough that they won't leave bumps on your nose.Good luck!
