it's important to remember that when it comes to glasses, the right frame shape is timeless as opposed to trying to keep up w/new trendy shapes...

what does become trendy is the color and thickness...again, that's personal preference....w/e you feel most comfortable in while looking in the mirror

Your contact lens prescription is also made up of the base curve and diameter. These can only be determined by taking measurements of the shape and size of your eyes. Hence you will need to see your optician for a full contact lens prescription. You can not just use your glasses prescription. It is a legal requirement of you to have a valid contact lens prescription before anyone can supply you with lenses. Even if you are buying them online, this will be needed

Mine is the same. both are LE -0.50, RE -1.25.
The eyeglasses work well but I feel the contact lenses are too strong but I just got the contact lenses 4 days ago. My automatic processing skills are down with the contact lenses. I have problems making clear associations. Its like I can't think clearly.

they should be but don't have to be. mine aren't. your eyes are probably just getting use to your contacts and being able to see perfectly. you have toget use to them. my contacts are L -4.00 and R -4.25. my glasses aren't any where near that because i have to squint to see some things and even when i wear two pairs of old glasses, they aren't strong enough. (yea i need new glasses haha)

We're looking for inexpensive (less than $25) eyeglasses, polarized, uncorrected, with darker tint at top of the lenses, gradually clearing to little or no tint at the bottom. We haven't been able to locate eyeglasses with lenses that are both polarized and with gradient tinting. Any ideas?
